This work is based on Alain Resnais’s 1956 documentary film on the French National Library, ‘All the memories of the world’. The short split text of the existing image was received from other artist and work began. As I started to work on the footage I started to find further clues or meanings of the process. The final result was not assumed in advance. I tried to understand what it means when I look at the work of other artists and what kind of orientation they will have. It was like a time travel and a diary in the past and the present. The title of the work is ‘Untitled’ but at the same time it is ‘All the memories of the world’, which is through in my eyes.
